Summary

In this course, students examine major mental disorders, including their traditional symptoms, corresponding diagnoses and the treatment options. We take a look at factors that may impact each diagnosis and explore historical trends and how those trends have made an impact on our understanding on psychopathology.

Student profile

This class will have a significant amount of research and/or writing assignments, so students should bring a personal laptop or tablet for use in class and during evening sessions.
