What does data mean, quantitatively and qualitatively? How can data impact scientific reasoning and social issues? This track will help you understand how to break a problem’s data down into tasks for a computer to solve (algorithms) and how to break projects into tasks for humans to collaborate respectfully and effectively (projects). Apply your knowledge to a data analysis or programming project of your choice using real world examples from Microsoft, Google and the MIT Media Lab.
This course is designed to offer high school students the opportunity to hone the skills they need to succeed in college, learn more about college admissions, financial aid and navigating universities of all sizes, prepare for college academics and set yourself up for future success.
