This class offers the rare chance for curious minds to explore the mathematical principles behind historical and modern-day encryption schemes. Students will actively engage in encoding and decoding as well as creating their own ciphers. Information security has never been as important as it is today. With knowledge and tools in hand, students will gain an understanding of the "spy mind."

Student profile

This course is designed to offer broad exposure in the field of cryptology. Students will have a variety of opportunities to collaborate with others and engage in hands-on labs.
