Summary
Engineering is a problem-solving profession that is both academically rigorous and creatively demanding. This course will introduce you to a broad spectrum of engineering fields and provide a strong foundation for understanding its key tools and concepts. Guest speakers and lab visits will give students a glimpse into the everyday operations of UW–Madison engineering teams. We will look into the mindset of an engineer and explore current cutting-edge questions in various engineering fields.
Student profile
All ALP students should bring a personal laptop or tablet for use in class and during evening sessions.
