Does spending a chunk of your summer designing your own game through coding appeal to you? In the course students will explore all the elements that go into the games they play. You will learn the in and outs from hardware to software looking at the evolution of the computer science world over the past several decades. You will jump into game design by creating several types of games using block coding while learning the syntax of coding languages. This course will provide a foundation in basic programming skills as well as introductory design elements so that you can create the game you’ve always dreamed of. No prior coding knowledge required!

Student profile

This course is a focused exposure experience in the fields of programming and graphic design. Students will be engaged in many hands-on project based activities. Students will be utilizing technology on a frequent basis during this course.

Tuition deadlines

The first half of tuition is due by May 15, 2023. The second half of tuition is due by June 1, 2023.
