For registration assistance: 608-890-3260

Studying the history of a science discipline gives us insight into what modern science has become. Today’s biology emerged from diverse traditions of agriculture and natural history, biomedicine and molecular biology, which stretch back into the eighteenth century. Examine "game-changers" in the history of biology. See how these different ways of knowing intertwined, competed, and yielded novel approaches to the study of life that still shape today's life sciences.
