Summary
Did you know that a newborn baby has round 300 bones, but a full grown adult has only 206? Or that the average human eye can distinguish around 10 million different colors? The human body is a complex machine made up of a network of organs and important systems that work constantly to keep us active and alive. In this class, you will take a closer look into the main organs and systems of the human body and their important functions. Topics covered are the format and function of major human organs such as the heart and lungs as well as body systems such as the musculoskeletal system, the circulatory system and the digestive system.
