Summary
This class will spark your curiosity about the objects in the world around you. Did you know that everything is basically made of the same three ingredients? Do you know about the periodic table? With critical and creative thinking, you will participate in hands-on experiments, make observations, and learn how to communicate your findings like a scientist. To learn about these topics, we will be conducting various experiments and hands-on activities. These will involve, but are not limited to: developing a model of the atom, making FLARP and Oobleck, and performing other experiments. If you geek out about the universe around you, love explosions, and find yourself asking “why?” all the time, this class is for you!
