(FULL) Mission Impossible: Engineering Challenges (Grades 5-6)

Summary

From ski resorts under the dome in the middle of the desert to rotating skyscrapers, nothing is impossible for contemporary designers. This class will help you start thinking like an engineer and engage you in a series of increasingly more and more complex competitive design challenges. You will be asked to apply your knowledge of math, physics, engineering and creative problem-solving strategies to complete hands-on, problem-solving and model-building activities. This project-based focused exposure to the world of engineering will leave students with a deeper understanding of how things work. Students will have a variety of opportunities to collaborate with others.

This course is designed as a challenging enrichment opportunity for students completing grades 5-6.

Tuition deadlines

The first half of tuition is due by May 15, 2024. The second half of tuition is due by June 1, 2024.
