Summary
Sustainability is an exciting, new, multi-disciplinary field of study that combines ecology, chemistry, thermodynamics, geology, meteorology and physics with the study of human behavior. How can individuals and communities foster the kind of future world in which all wish to live? You will study renewable and non-renewable energy sources and the direct and indirect consequences of fossil fuel use for modern economies. Using fieldwork and global case studies, you will learn to apply scientific models to evaluate data and predict outcomes from different kinds of resource allocation.
