Summary
Have you ever thought about myths and legends and wondered where they came from? Have you intentionally held your breath while crossing a tunnel, just in case? In this course, you will explore different stories, legends and myths, and where they may have come from. Find the layers of truth behind the stories, then dive into your own research to learn about the cultures and societal contexts that may have contributed to the original story. This class will give students an introduction to cultural anthropology and a new lens to global perspectives.
Student profile
All ALP students are advised to bring a personal laptop or tablet for use in class and during evening sessions.
