Summary
This introductory level coding course utilizes the innovative "CoderZ"’ curriculum to guide students through coding challenges and collaborative activities with a virtual robot. Students will learn to control their virtual robots by writing code to facilitate motion utilizing pattern recognition, repeat loops, smart block functions and much more! If you have always wanted to learn more about coding and robots, and love a virtual challenge but didn’t know where to start, this class may be for you! This course is designed to be accessed using a desktop or laptop computer.

This course is designed for students in 3–4 grade.
The Virtual GEM Winter program runs for 5 consecutive Saturday mornings and is delivered FULLY ONLINE. Courses are designed as challenging enrichment opportunities and feature a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning. All synchronous learning meetings will take place between 9–10:30 a.m. on Saturdays via Zoom.
