Program
Summary
This class will introduce students to the world of psychology using the movie "Inside Out" as a base for exploring emotions, actions and memories. Students will be learning about the foundations of psychology through role play, class discussions and other activities. If you geek out about dreams, wonder why some of your emotions are so strong, or want to better understand how your brain works, this class is for you!
Student profile
This course is designed for students in grades 2–4.
The Virtual GEM Winter program runs for 5 consecutive Saturday mornings and is delivered FULLY ONLINE. Courses are designed as challenging enrichment opportunities and feature a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning. All synchronous learning meetings will take place between 9–10:30 a.m. on Saturdays via Zoom.
