Summary

How do ecosystems change over time? Can they recover after being damaged? What are some of the most effective ways to protect wildlife and their habitats? Why is biodiversity important for the health of the Earth? This course introduces students to the fascinating world of the environment and the science behind it. The course explores key topics such as ecosystems, biodiversity, environmental challenges, human impact in the world, sustainability and conservation. Students are provided the opportunity to understand and study the complex relationships between humans and the environment. Through hands-on activities in nature, engaging projects and labs, and real-world examples, students will explore how natural systems function, how human activities impact the planet and what can be done to create a more sustainable future. If you are interested in combining scientific inquiry and critical thinking with practical, real-world applications to contribute to creating a more sustainable and environmentally responsible world through awareness and advocacy, then this course might be for you.
