Latino Youth Summit

Latino Youth Summit is a free two-day conference for Latino Middle School students in the Madison area. Summit participants gather and learn on UW–Madison’s campus, getting a taste of college life and the resources available in their community.

Through a culturally relevant curriculum, students learn more about the path from middle school to high school to college for Latino students and academic subjects like science, art and history. Students not only attend workshops in these subjects, they also complete a Precollege Scavenger Hunt around campus, enjoy Babcock Ice Cream and collectively create a Youth Summit art project.
