Summary
Did you know there are nearly 400,000 species of plants on earth? From micro flowers to towering trees, prickly pears to poisonous poppies, we'll explore the vast variety of what the plant kingdom has to offer! We will explore plant anatomy, ecology, and their vital roles in the environment. Plan to spend time exploring the campus gardens and considering the role of agriculture, landscape architecture, and other ways human and plant life interact. By the end of the week, participants will have a deeper appreciation for the plant kingdom and the skills to observe and understand the natural world around them!
