Summer Music Clinic Tuition Waiver
Wisconsin students attending the University of Wisconsin–Madison Summer Music Clinic in 2026, who are high school juniors and planning to enter college in the fall of 2027, may audition for one of 10 tuition waiver awards to the University of Wisconsin-Madison or University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee. The purpose is to award and encourage students with outstanding musical achievements in the Wisconsin high school system to bring their talents to the UW-Madison or UW-Milwaukee and to learn from the quality of the Schools of Music at both institutions to help students reach their future goals. Qualified applicants will audition during Summer Music Clinic Senior Session and are informed of final audition results by e-mail following the end of the Clinic. These tuition waivers are awarded starting Fall 2027.
Tuition Waiver Auditions
Summer Music Clinic registrants who are eligible to audition for the Tuition Waiver Award must be:
- Completing junior year at a Wisconsin high school
- Permanent legal resident of Wisconsin
- Plan on majoring or double majoring in music at UW-Madison or UW-Milwaukee
- Attend Summer Music Clinic Senior Session

Summer Music Clinic is in partnership with the UW–Madison Mead Witter School of Music
Applications are due June 1, 2026. The preliminary audition round will take place during the day Sunday June 28, 2026, and the final round is on the evening of Wednesday July 1, 2026. The auditions will be in person at UW-Madison in coordination with Summer Music Clinic.
