Tuition Waiver Award program – Updated for 2024!
Summer Music Clinic registrants who are completing their junior year at a Wisconsin high school, are permanent legal residents of Wisconsin, plan on majoring or double majoring in music at UW-Madison or UW-Milwaukee, and are attending Summer Music Clinic Senior Session are eligible to audition for the Tuition Waiver Award Program.
This program recognizes exceptional musical achievement in the Wisconsin high school system by awarding 10 students a tuition-free undergraduate college education at UW–Madison or UW–Milwaukee. The purpose of the award is to provide the opportunity for selected students to experience high quality musical education and to help them reach current and future goals. Students may audition in voice or all instruments leading to all paths available at the Mead Witter School of Music at UW-Madison. Students must be a music major or double major with a music major to be eligible for this award if attending UW-Madison.
Applications are due June 1, 2024. The preliminary audition round will take place during the day Sunday June 23, 2024, and the final round is on the evening of Wednesday June 26, 2024. The auditions will be in person at UW-Madison in coordination with Summer Music Clinic.
