Calling all performers, artists, and people who express themselves through acting. This course explores the world of theater and writing through an exploration of characterization and objective. Exploring acting and playwriting using a college-based curriculum, you will gain knowledge of acting techniques and character development through active participation in improvisation-based and scripted scene work. In addition to performing a play, successful students will write and perform monologues and short scenes for auditions, workshop, and future theatrical opportunities.

Student profile

This course is a focused exposure experience in theatrical performing arts. Students will have many opportunities to collaborate. This course is also writing intensive.

Tuition deadlines

The first half of tuition is due by May 15, 2023. The second half of tuition is due by June 1, 2023.
