Summary

The class offers an introduction to programming languages through the development of a simple game. This will give students an overview of some of the commands available in programming, experience writing code from planning to execution to iteration, as well as the experience of using documentation to find new commands to use as they create more complex systems for their games.

Student profile

Adventures in Coding has been designed for 3rd and 4th grade students with a high level of interest in computer programming and coding. This course is considered to be an academic challenge for students.
