Summary

What does it mean to be creative or create? What inspires authors across platforms to develop a visual expression of their imaginations? If you enjoy the opportunity to disappear into the pages and worlds of your own writing, this is the course for you. Through individual and collaborative storytelling, this class explores the world of imagining and representing our creativity through various mediums, modes of expression, and avenues of inspiration. Students have the opportunity to explore different forms of inspiration through excursions both on and off campus and learn the skills to take their ideas to the pen and page.

Student profile

Our Writing classes are designed for avid readers and writers who enjoy these activities and are serious about improving their skills, broadening their repertoire and expanding their creative practice. Additionally, this course will help prepare students for writing classes at the high school level.
