Summary

This course provides an in-depth exploration of the diverse career pathways within the biological sciences. Through an engaging curriculum that covers key disciplines such as ecology, genetics, medical research, molecular biology, and biotechnology, students will gain an in-depth understanding of the many areas within biological science and the potential career paths they offer. Through lecture discussions, hands-on activities, guest speakers, and field trips on the UW- Madison campus, students will explore the scope of each field, the required skills and education, and the emerging trends and technologies shaping these professions. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of how biological science principles are applied in real-world contexts and how these fields contribute to solving global challenges.

Tuition deadlines
