This discussion based class uses critical thinking and analysis to examine the question, "How do we know what we know?" in terms of historical narratives. By exploring commonalities over time, students will reflect on how dominant cultures control the narrative, "to the victor goes the spoils" and answer the question, "Who writes history and how do these viewpoints impact the narrative?"
